There was a mixup with our reservation (no fault of Weinhaus Fries, it was an issue with a popular booking site I used) and the staff went above and beyond to find us a room at a nearby hotel (which was also lovely) and they invited us for dinner and breakfast still at Weinhaus Fries. The property is absolutely beautiful and well decorated, the food is phenomenal and the wine is amazing 😍 we are very grateful and will return for sure (and book directly this time 😅).

Absolutely perfect place. Staff was super nice, food was great and rooms were decent size, clean and modern. And let's not forget that this is winery so their wine here is top notch. We got absolutely great service. They have nice little restaurant which atmosphere is nice. This place is rather easy to find, even google maps did lead us somewhere else.

We loved the whole thing! As soon as we got in, we felt welcome. We slept in Riesling room and we can see the river Mosel and Thurant castle. Food and breakfast was excellent. We sure hope to come back here as soon as possilble.

Beautiful location and run by a lovely friendly attentive family , Rooms were outstanding with fantastic views over the river and both the breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant were first class . It also boasted excellent parking facilities was absolutely fabulous.

Wonderful Weingut! This place is an absolute gem. We got a spacious, modern and fabously decorated room overlooking the Mosel. Dinner with a wide selection of their own wines and very tasty food in generous portions. But what really shines is the wonderful service provided by the mother/daughter-in-law team running the place. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel. Great rooms and good breakfast. We had dinner there as well. Very good though the wines were quite dry. The owners work very hard , day and night!! The beds were great shower perfect. You hear the Road outside but it didn t bother us. I would recommend this hotel!!!

This was a luxurious and modern designed room with a view on the river Mosel. Breakfast was splendid, we also liked the dinercard. The house has its own delicious wines. Most of all, we felt happy about the friendly and personal treatment we have got from the owners.
